Artist Peter Taylor is renowned for his seascapes and landscapes. Peter Taylor is a professional artist working mainly in oils, favouring representational subjects in a loose painterly style.  Peter has a great love of vast skyscapes, the sea, coastal scenes, landscapes and woodlands.

Peter has won top prizes for his paintings in mixed juried exhibitions and has held many one-man shows. He also has work in galleries across the country and is represented at fine art fairs nationwide and is now delighted to be represented by The Art Hut in Llandudno.

In addition to Britain, Peter’s work is private collections in Italy, Spain, France, New Zealand, America, Australia and Russia.

Peter was, for three years, was invited to join the ‘Castles and Clans’ painting event in Scotland which involved a weeks plein air painting with a number of top American artists to produce work for an exhibition at a fine art gallery in Colorado.

Peter’s work is based on realism but with a modern, loose style i.e paintings that look like paintings not photographs.
